Bio

Madeleine Primavera Bailey is a multidisciplinary artist working across visual and literary media.
She holds an MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC, Painting and Drawing) and an AB from Brown University (Visual Art, Literary Art, Cognitive Neuroscience).
Madeleine has an active curatorial practice and has served as a faculty member in SAIC's Low-Residency MFA program. She has shown her work at galleries and independent spaces nationally and internationally, and has been awarded residencies at OxBow, the Vermont Studio Center, the Chicago Artists Coalition's BOLT program (funded by the Andy Warhol Foundation), and ACRE (Stuben, WI).
She splits her time between Long Island City, NY and Chicago, IL.
